This tool has sticks to catch razor clam. When the clam sticks out its mouth from the surface.

It bites the stick when it is put inside its mouth, then people can catch the clam by pulling out the stick with the clam.

The quality of clam decreases when it gets hurt while catching it.

The tool is differently called depending on the regions.

In Jeju-do, it is called as 'matsalsoi', Jin-do as 'matsoi', and Jeolla-do and Chungcheon-do as 'Sseogae'.
